Burnley Pride postponed until 2012

East Lancashire’s first gay Pride festival has been postponed until next year.
Organisers of Burnley Pride said it had been “too adventurous” to plan the event in time for September.
Instead, an organising committee has been formed with a view to holding the event next year.
Deb Bradshaw, chair of the Lancashire LGBT Group and one of the organisers, told the Lancashire Telegraph: “It would have been a little bit too adventurous to have got it up and running this year.

The fun at Austria’s Pink Lake festival, held around Lake Wörthersee continued last night with a boat party on the crystal clear waters.
The festival, which is sponsored by PinkNews.co.uk sees just under a thousand LGBT tourists descend on the relatively small town of Velden for three nights of parties.
The party was held on two boats that joined each other for much of the evening offering two distinct types of music.
